Feed by stage
| Age | Feed | Protein | Meals/day |
|---|---|---|---|
| First 2 weeks | Moina in the pond, plus soybean flour and egg yolk mixed with water and spread over the whole pond | – | 5–6 |
| Days 11–15 | Switch gradually to powder feed | 35–40% | 4 |
| From week 4 | Floating feed, pellet size matched to mouth size | 30–35% | 3 |
Spread feed slowly and evenly over the pond; feed just enough, leaving no uneaten feed to foul the water.

Why Moina matters
A Can Tho University study found that the density and size of the plankton used as first feed had a decisive influence on fry survival. So the pond needs Moina before stocking, and must keep it through the first 10 days.
Reference amounts per 1 million fry
From the Ministry of Science and Technology guide; adjust to how the fish actually feed.

Products mixed into feed

Digestion and resistance
- Routinely until harvest
Liver, gut, minerals, vitamins
How to mix
1. Dissolve
Dissolve the product in just enough clean water.
2. Mix
Mix evenly into the feed.
3. Coat
Coat with ATOMIC Plus. For pellets only, not for powder feed.
4. Air-dry
Air-dry for 20 minutes, then feed.
Do not mix together
The PRO F label says not to mix it with antibacterial agents or organic acids. Use an opened pack within 30 days.
Feed evenly across the pond
Spread feed slowly and evenly so all fish get their share. When fish feed poorly, check the water and parasites before adding feed.
