YANG, a synergistic alliance
Yeast derivatives (inactivated whole yeast or yeast cell walls) are used in animal nutrition mainly to balance the gut microbiota and stimulate natural defences. YANG optimises these properties through a unique formula and a dedicated production process.

Yeast derivatives differ in mannans, β-glucans, nucleotides and more; genetics, physiology and the industrial process all affect their properties.

Strains selected by atomic force microscopy
Lallemand uses atomic force microscopy (AFM) and single-molecule force spectroscopy to characterise and select strains with high adhesion, then combines them in YANG.

Synergy on the immune system
Yeast cell wall components are recognised by immune receptors (Dectin-1 and others), stimulating immunity at the gut mucosa.
Inclusion rate
YANG is added at 800 g/tonne of feed, adjusted to the species and farming conditions. It can be used widely on most farms.
