TETRA-C
Oxytetracycline 30% + Vitamin C — treats bacterial infection, supports resistance in shrimp and fishTreats luminous disease caused by Vibrio in shrimp and intestinal hemorrhage caused by Aeromonas, Pseudomonas in pangasius. Broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic, bacteriostatic by blocking bacterial protein synthesis; combined with Vitamin C to support resistance and speed up recovery. Use as labelled or as directed by a veterinarian.

Infected shrimp: treat correctly, keep them strong
Sick shrimp get weaker — treat correctly and keep them strong
- 1
Signs of infection
Shrimp glow at night, pale hepatopancreas, eat less, swim sluggishly.
- 2
Opportunistic bacteria
Vibrio spp. multiply when shrimp are weak, the pond is rich in organic matter or conditions change.
- 3
Lower resistance
Disease and prolonged stress slow recovery and raise losses.
- 4
Confirm before medicating
Antibiotics only work on bacterial infection — find the cause first.
Find the cause before medicating
- Measure the pondpH, alkalinity, salinity, dissolved oxygen
- Check the shrimpHepatopancreas, gut, luminous signs
- Ask a technician or vetConfirm whether it is a bacterial infection
- Medicate as indicatedRight dose, full course
For shrimp and fish
- Shrimp
Luminous disease caused by Vibrio
Oxytetracycline with Vitamin C supports resistance and speeds up recovery. 3 – 5 g/kg feed for 5 – 7 days.
- Fish
Intestinal hemorrhage caused by Aeromonas and Pseudomonas (pangasius)
1 kg per 300 – 500 kg of feed, for 5 – 7 days in a row. Mix into feed and use an external binder.
Oxytetracycline stops bacteria, Vitamin C supports resistance
Oxytetracycline is a tetracycline, a broad-spectrum antibiotic active against both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. It diffuses through the bacterial cell membrane, binds the ribosome and blocks protein synthesis — the bacteria stop growing and multiplying (bacteriostatic). The added Vitamin C supports the animal’s resistance during treatment.
