MULTI-STRAIN INACTIVATED YEAST · BETA-GLUCAN
AQUAMOS
Stronger resistance, faster growth
Mixed into feed. AQUAMOS is a blend of inactivated multi-strain yeast rich in beta-glucan. Beta-glucan stimulates the shrimp's natural immunity, while the yeast cell walls bind pathogenic bacteria in the gut so they are carried out.

What AQUAMOS does for shrimp
Watch the inactivated yeast cell wall at work: the mannan layer holds pathogenic bacteria and carries them out with the feces, and the beta-glucan layer wakes up the shrimp's natural immunity — plus the trial result and the dose.
How it works
Yeast cell walls do two jobs at once
A yeast cell wall has two main layers: an outer layer rich in mannan and an inner layer rich in beta-glucan. The yeast is inactivated, so it does not multiply — only the useful wall remains.
- 1Stimulates immunity
Shrimp blood cells read beta-glucan as an alert signal, so the natural immune system is primed in advance.
- 2Binds pathogens
Yeast cell walls hold pathogenic bacteria so they leave with the feces instead of attaching to the gut wall.
- 3Better gut condition
Less damage to the gut lining, stable digestion, and shrimp that feed and grow evenly.

Key benefits of AQUAMOS
1Helps reduce the impact of white feces disease
- Helps lower the number and variety of pathogenic bacterial strains.
- Supports hepatopancreas protection when shrimp have white feces.
2Effect on the gut microbiota
- In the trial, shrimp fed AQUAMOS had clearly lower pathogenic bacteria than the control after a 48-hour challenge.
- Supports stable, healthy digestion.
3Less tissue damage
- Helps reduce gut tissue damage linked to white feces disease.
AQUAMOS supports shrimp health, especially in preventing and easing gut problems.
Trial
Results of the white feces challenge trial
The trial used 8 tanks with 4 shrimp each to assess the condition of the shrimp hepatopancreas and gut.
The AQUAMOS group lost 30%, below the challenged group without the product (36.8%).

Benefits
What AQUAMOS does
- Adds beta-glucan to whiteleg shrimp feed to raise resistance.
- Multi-strain inactivated yeast binds pathogenic bacteria, supporting resistance.
- Stimulates immunity and helps improve the gut and gut lining.
- Optimizes growth when used continuously from the start of the crop.
Directions
Dosage
| Use case | Dose | Meals | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| During the crop | 2 – 3 g / kg of feed | 1 – 2 meals/day | Start from day one, can be used continuously |
| To boost resistance or recover after disease | 5 – 7 g / kg of feed | 2 meals/day | Until shrimp recover |
How much AQUAMOS to weigh out
Enter the feed for one meal and pick the case.
How to use
Mix into feed in four steps
Weigh the dose
Weigh AQUAMOS by the dose and the feed for that meal.
Dissolve in clean water
Use just enough water to wet the feed evenly.
Mix and coat
Mix evenly into the feed, then coat with ATOMIC or a suitable binder.
Dry for 20 minutes
Wait for the coating to dry before feeding.
The dose may change with shrimp health and actual farm conditions. Seal the bag with its zip right after use if not finished. Store in a dry, cool place below 30 °C.
Use with
The AQUAMOS + PRO GUT duo: a fuller gut, no more slow growth

AQUAMOS adds beta-glucan and yeast cell walls, PRO GUT adds live microbes. Used together, they help the shrimp gut and liver develop evenly.

FAQ
Common questions
How is inactivated yeast different from live yeast?
Inactivated yeast no longer multiplies, so it does not compete for feed and withstands heat during mixing. The useful part is the cell wall: beta-glucan stimulates immunity, mannan holds pathogenic bacteria.
When should I start?
From the start of the crop: 2 – 3 g/kg of feed, 1 – 2 meals a day, and it can be used continuously.
How much for weak shrimp or after disease?
5 – 7 g/kg of feed, 2 meals a day to boost resistance and help shrimp recover.
Can it be used with PRO GUT?
Yes — it is a common duo: AQUAMOS supplies beta-glucan and yeast cell walls, PRO GUT supplies live microbes. Mix both into the same meal at each product's dose.
Weak shrimp, slow or uneven growth?
