WATER & POND BOTTOM PROBIOTIC · BACILLUS + LACTIC
Better water quality, bigger harvests
Applied to the pond. SHIELD PRO builds a balanced pond microbiota: a blend of Bacillus strains and one lactic acid bacterium, Pediococcus acidilactici, where the Bacillus strains produce 5 enzymes that break down organic matter. It helps keep pH and algae stable and limits liner slime, so shrimp are less stressed in the rainy season and at water exchange.

SHIELD PRO builds a balanced pond microbiota
Watch beneficial microbes at work in the pond: breaking down organic matter and sludge, converting ammonia to nitrate and building a balanced microbiota that steadies pH and algae and cuts liner slime — helping shrimp stay less stressed in the rainy season and at water exchange.
SHIELD PRO's strength
A balanced microbiota — less stressed shrimp
When the pond microbiota is balanced, the environment swings less: pH and algae stay steadier and the liner carries less slime. This helps shrimp stay less stressed in the rainy season or at water exchange.
Balanced microbiota
- Stable pH
Helps keep pH steady and limits strong swings during the day.
- Stable algae
Limits algae booming and then crashing, helping keep the water color even.
- Less liner slime
Breaks down built-up organic matter and limits the slime on the pond liner.
Rainy seasonrain makes pH and algae swing

Pond challenges
Every day of feeding adds another day of waste
A pond is a complex ecosystem. Leftover feed and organic waste build up and bring several risks to the pond environment.
Sludge and organic matter
Leftover feed, feces and dead algae settle into bottom sludge.
Ammonia and nitrite
NH₃ and NO₂ rise with the feed and the waste.
Algal blooms
Excess nutrients make algae overgrow and the water change color.
Toxic gas, low oxygen
Sludge breaking down without oxygen releases H₂S and pulls oxygen down.
How it works
Beneficial microbes clean the water and the pond bottom
SHIELD PRO speeds up the conversion of ammonia into nitrate, a less toxic form, and breaks down bottom sludge to reduce toxic gas.
- Leftover feed, feces, dead algaeorganic matter
- NH₃ / NH₄⁺ammonia — toxic
- NO₂⁻nitrite — toxic
- NO₃⁻nitrate — less toxic
SHIELD PRO promotes the conversion
Bottom sludge is broken down → less H₂S
- Breaks down organic matter
Controls bottom sludge and reduces H₂S, giving shrimp and fish a better environment.
- Controls ammonia, supports nitrification
Speeds up the conversion of ammonia to nitrate, lowering toxicity and stabilizing water quality.
- Limits harmful bacteria
The beneficial strains help limit the growth of harmful bacteria and support animal protection.
- Builds a balanced microbiota
Helps stabilize pH and algae, limits liner slime and keeps the pond environment stable.
Composition & features
Three things that make SHIELD PRO
A synergistic blend
Bacillus strains combined with one lactic acid bacterium, Pediococcus acidilactici, built for shrimp and fish ponds.
Wide adaptability
The strains are selected to work well even at low oxygen, from fresh water to high salinity.
5 enzymes from the Bacillus strains
The Bacillus strains produce amylase, lipase, protease, xylanase and cellulase, which break down a wide range of organic matter in the pond.
The Bacillus strains produce 5 enzymes — each breaks down one group of matter
- Amylasestarch
- Lipasefats
- Proteaseproteins
- Xylanasehemicellulose
- Cellulasecellulose
Field results
What ponds have shown
- Sludge control
Less sludge build-up, a better pond bottom and a lower risk of toxic gas.
- Lower ammonia
Field trials show SHIELD PRO helps lower ammonia in the water and supports nitrification.
- Growth and survival
Shrimp farm trials with SHIELD PRO recorded higher growth, survival and yield than the control.

Directions
Dosage
| Use case | Dose | Frequency | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Super-intensive shrimp ponds | 1 sachet of 227 g per 1,500 – 2,000 m³ of water | Every 2 – 5 days | Increase gradually with the animal biomass |
| Challenging periods | Higher dose, on technical advice | During that period | Algal blooms, water color changes, bad weather |
How many sachets for your pond
Enter the water surface area and the average water depth.
How to use
Apply to the pond in four steps
Pick the morning
When the water is in good shape: DO > 4 ppm, pH 7.5 – 8.2.
Mix with pond water
Mix the sachet with 5 – 10 liters of pond water, or apply directly.
Spread evenly
Broadcast evenly over the whole water surface.
Repeat regularly
Every 2 – 5 days throughout the crop, increasing with biomass.
The dose may change with actual conditions; ask a technician before use. Increase the dose in challenging periods such as algal blooms, water color changes and bad weather.

FAQ
Common questions
How is SHIELD PRO different from a regular water probiotic?
SHIELD PRO combines Bacillus strains with one lactic acid bacterium, Pediococcus acidilactici, to build a balanced pond microbiota; the Bacillus strains produce 5 enzymes that break down organic matter. The strains are selected to work even at low oxygen, from fresh water to high salinity.
Why does a balanced microbiota mean less shrimp stress?
With a balanced microbiota, pH and algae swing less and the liner carries less slime. The environment is steadier, which helps shrimp stay less stressed in the rainy season or at water exchange.
Does SHIELD PRO help reduce liner slime?
The beneficial microbes break down organic matter that builds up in the pond, which helps limit the slime layer on the pond liner.
How much for a super-intensive pond?
1 sachet of 227 g per 1,500 – 2,000 m³ of water, every 2 – 5 days, increasing gradually with the animal biomass.
What time of day should I apply it?
In the morning, when the water is in good shape: dissolved oxygen above 4 ppm, pH 7.5 – 8.2.
What about algal blooms or water color changes?
These are the periods to increase the dose. Contact the Thần Vương technical team for the right dose for your pond.
Murky water, swinging pH, unstable algae, slimy liner?
Send the Thần Vương technical team photos of the water color, your NH₃, NO₂ and pH readings and the culture day — get stage-right advice the same day.
