RESEARCH ON APPLICATIONS OF ORGANIC ACIDS
Antibacterial mechanism
- Organic acids after permeating through the cell membrane will dissociate to release the acid radical RCOO - and H + ions .
- RCOO acid radicals – act on bacterial RNA, disrupting the synthesis of essential bacterial enzymes.
- Bacterial intracellular organelles expend a lot of energy pushing H + ions out to balance pH.
- two mechanisms will neutralize bacteria.

Ability to prevent intestinal diseases in shrimp
- Organic acids have been shown to inhibit several Vibrio species including: V. harveyi, V. parahaemolyticus, V. vulnificus, V. alginolyticus, V. cholera in shrimp.
Function to improve immune response
- Increased immune-related genes including Lysozyme , Catalase, Penaeidin.
- Increased glutathione peroxidase activity.
FCR improvement function
- Organic acids in the intestine increase pancreatic secretion to improve digestion of protein and other nutrients such as starch and fat.
- Low pH environment increases mineral solubility and increases absorption of Ca, Mg and especially Phosphorus, reducing Phosphorus in feces.
User manual
- Inhibit harmful bacteria and prevent intestinal diseases: Use 3 - 5 g/kg of food.
- Combined with medication during treatment for better results.
- Mix the product with enough clean water, mix well into the food, coat with a suitable product, let dry for 20 minutes before feeding the shrimp.
Note: Mix the product with water and feed immediately to ensure the drug's activity is not lost.
